No roof. No windows. But electricity? ⚡

Before anyone plugs in a saw, there’s already been a whole lot of teamwork.

Masonry crews, electricians, inspectors and the power company all have a part in getting this one section of wall ready to work.

It’s called a TUG wall, and it allows the home’s permanent electrical service to provide construction power while the rest of the house takes shape.

So that little wall standing on a homesite? There’s more going on than you might think.

Congratulations to Sara Alfano, our Director of Operations, on winning this year’s SBA Operations Professional of the Year award!

For 12 years, Sara has been an essential part of Sam Rodgers Homes. She began as a Design Consultant and grew into the person who connects so many parts of the homebuilding process, from homeowner design sessions to purchasing, permitting, and production scheduling.
