Dave's San Francisco Real Estate Market Update | September 2026

San Francisco’s August market continued to show strong year-over-year price growth, with both single-family homes and condos posting notable gains.

The median single-family home price reached $1.8 million, up 23.33% year over year, while the median condo price reached $1.2 million, up 22.33%. Homes also sold in an average of 26 days, 10 days faster than last year, while condos averaged 51 days on market, down 23 days year over year.

With 153 homes and 220 condos sold in August, the market continues to reflect meaningful activity across San Francisco, with pricing and pace varying by property type and neighborhood.
