Thrilled to help this family with an organizing project in their little one’s room! ❤️

Every book now lives on the lower shelves where small hands can reach, and the diapers moved up top into fabric bins for the grown-ups. Kids are much more likely to put things away when “away” is at their height. And that sorting by color... that was just for the beauty of it. 😍

This linen closet makes us sooo happy.

We sorted this client’s towels into sets by color and gave each set a shelf of its own. Every towel is folded with the rounded edge facing out, which keeps the stacks neat from the front. The beach towels sit together lower down, easy to grab on the way out the door.

This is one of the biggest shifts we make with clients. Storage should follow how you live, not how a magazine says a space should look.⁠

Take the entryway table by the door, for example. If mail always ends up there, give it an actual landing zone.

The same goes for shoes piling up near the door: add a bench or basket instead of insisting they belong in a fancy cabinet nobody uses.
