The City of Salisbury Animal Control just removed the 6th unleashed, roaming cat from our property this year. We are aware that many times, these cats are dumped nearby due to horrible humans but this is not always the case. Some of these cats have belonged to residents (at the Glade & surrounding neighborhoods) that blatantly disregard the City of Salisbury's Animal Ordinance and the Glade by-laws and policies.
Per the City of Salisbury, Animal Ordinance " All animals are prohibited from being at-large".
• All pets must be under the direct control of their owner and are prohibited from running loose in public spaces.
Per Glade Policy Pets Policy P-2015-02.
• All pets shall be kept inside the respective owner’s unit. NO pets are permitted to run at large or be tied/caged/restrained outside the Unit. Pets may be walked outside in the common elements ONLY while on a leash, that is held by the person walking the pet. This INCLUDES cats. Any stray dogs/cats shall be reported, turned over to Animal Control, and the owner fined.
Please be a responsible pet owner and neighbor!
