With a baby on the way we had to find somewhere to this family to live!

They wanted some land and weren't afraid to do a little work to get what they wanted.

I found this home that was going into foreclosure. The house and yard were full of debris but with a little (ok, a lot) of cleaning and junk removal this home will be worth so much more than they paid for it.🏠

Halloween season is in full swing across the Carolinas and this weekend is serving up all the spooky, silly, and downright fun fall vibes you could ever want! 🎃👻🦁

Kick off Friday, October 16th at Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Stadium for Boomer’s Halloween Bash (4pm), where a co****le tournament, inflatables, a mechanical bull, pumpkin patch, hayrides, Halloween cocktails, and Friday-only Halloween trivia at the Outfield Bar all lead up to a 7pm screening of Ghostbusters under the stars — and Saturday the 17th brings it all back with trick-or-treating with Sunny’s Market vendors, a Disney Villain Meet & Greet at 5:30pm, a costume contest, and The Nightmare Before Christmas starting at 6:30pm!

Also opening Friday October 16th and running every weekend through Halloween, Lee Street Theatre is presenting House on Haunted Hill, a deliciously suspenseful theatrical thriller based on the Vincent Price cult classic packed with mystery, dark humor, ghostly encounters, and edge-of-your-seat twists — the doors lock at midnight and good luck to you!

Saturday, October 17th, Tiger World is hosting Boo at the Zoo (10am–3pm) with trick-or-treating alongside the animals, a costume contest, bonfire, free mini golf, and animal encounters available by appointment — honestly one of the most unique Halloween experiences around!

A little rain couldn’t stop us from enjoying the October Tour of Homes in Salisbury! ☔️🏡🍂

We had such a fun time exploring these beautiful homes, admiring the architecture, and taking in all the charm and history that makes Salisbury so special!

Rain or shine, there’s just something about getting out and appreciating the beautiful homes and wonderful community we have right here in Rowan County. ❤️

What an absolutely enchanting weekend ahead across the Carolinas — fall is in full swing and the lineup is giving us everything! 🍂🦋🎶

Saturday, October 10th kicks off with the 51st Annual OctoberTour in Historic Salisbury (10am–5pm, continuing Sunday 12–5pm), where complimentary trolleys whisk you from stunning historic home to historic home with knowledgeable docents at every stop — and the free OctoberTour Festival running alongside it with food trucks, vendors, and live music makes this a full weekend tradition worth every single year!

Also on Saturday, Historic Downtown Mocksville comes alive for The Oaks Festival (11am–7pm) with live music all day from Raphael Graves Duo, Taylor Mason, and Carolina Clay Band, plus food trucks, vendors, henna tattoos, permanent jewelry, free bounce houses, free pumpkin painting, free balloon twisting, and New Sarum Brewing on site — bring your chairs and plan to stay all day!

That same Saturday evening, Downtown China Grove is hosting An Evening in Stars Hollow (5–9pm), a Gilmore Girls themed event with hayrides, show screenings, troubadours, trivia, food trucks, and merch that is going to make every Stars Hollow fan absolutely lose their mind in the best possible way — team Dean, Jesse, or Logan, everyone is welcome!

Then on Sunday, October 11th, head to Hurley Park in Salisbury for the Monarch Butterfly Release at 2pm, where All-A-Flutter Farms will teach attendees about the butterfly life cycle before releasing 50 Monarchs and 50 Painted Lady butterflies into the wild — one of those rare and magical moments that reminds you just how beautiful this world really is!
