🐾 Meet Jett, Our Brilliant and Mischievous Giant Schnauzer! 🖤🐾
🧠 Intelligence, Curiosity, Determination, and Problem-Solving Skills.
Jett never ceases to amaze us with his incredible intelligence and ability to figure things out.
Today, Jett decided he wanted his toy box, which was sitting on top of his crate. Rather than waiting for me to get it, he took matters into his own paws! He figured out how to jump up onto his crate and attempt to retrieve his toy box all by himself! 🧸🐾
That's Jett! Always thinking, observing, problem-solving, and finding creative ways to accomplish whatever he sets his mind to!
🐕🦺 Jett is both my Service Dog and a professionally Trained, Fully Certified Mold Detection Dog.
What makes Jett so remarkable is his combination of intelligence, curiosity, confidence, determination, and yes, his mischievous personality.
🔍 What Does It Take to Become an Exceptional Mold Detection Dog?
An exceptional detection dog needs much more than an extraordinary sense of smell.
Qualities such as natural curiosity, strong motivation, confidence, persistence, and independent problem-solving abilities can be tremendous assets in a working detection dog.
These characteristics, when combined with specialized professional training, consistency, discipline, and a strong handler-dog partnership, help develop a reliable and effective detection team.
Jett's natural curiosity and determination are qualities that complement his specialized mold detection training.
🐾 The Difference Between Work and Play
One of the things I appreciate most about Jett is his ability to transition between his responsibilities as a working dog and his playful personality at home.
When it's time to work, Jett understands that he has a job to do. His professional training allows him to focus on his responsibilities as both a Service Dog and a Mold Detection Dog.
But when he's off duty, his mischievous Giant Schnauzer personality comes shining through!
❤️ Jett is more than my working partner. He's my companion, my protector, and an incredibly intelligent dog who continues to surprise me every day.
His determination to retrieve his toy box is just another example of how his mind works. He's constantly observing his surroundings, evaluating situations, and figuring out solutions.
And apparently, when Jett wants his toy box, he's determined to find a way to get it! 😂🐾
I'm incredibly proud of the dog Jett has become and the dedication, training, and hard work that have gone into developing our partnership.
Sometimes the very qualities that make our working dogs exceptional also make them the most entertaining companions at home! 🖤
