🦆 Waterfowl Festival isn't just a weekend event in Easton. It's practically a local institution.
Every November, downtown transforms into a celebration of wildlife art, conservation, Eastern Shore traditions, and community. There are artists, decoy carvers, retriever demonstrations, dogs leaping into pools, and more than a few people who take their duck calling very seriously.
But the festival's story goes well beyond one weekend.
In our latest blog, we're exploring how Waterfowl got its start in 1971, why the historic Easton Armory plays such an important role in community life, and what makes this annual tradition so special.
Plus, a personal story involving an unfortunate dog bite and the crushing discovery that Waterfowl's volunteer Duck Wranglers don't actually wrangle ducks. (We're still disappointed.)
The 55th annual Waterfowl Festival returns to Easton November 13–15! Read the full story on the CBRE Plus blog.
