It’s spooky season, so Lindsay and I tackled what scares buyers most: the home inspection 👻

A 50 to 100 page report can look terrifying. Most of it is your maintenance to-do list, not a deal-breaker. The things that matter are issues affecting health, safety, habitability, use, or value of the home.

In this video we share two real stories about the scariest finding of all, foundation problems. One deal closed with some creative negotiating. In the other, the buyer walked away and ended up in a home he liked even better.

We also cover FHA repair requirements, your four options after an inspection, and why we often suggest asking for a lower price instead of seller repairs.
