New job just kicked off in Lincroft the only way it should — with the layout marked and the footings started.
We’re building a covered overhang off the back of the house. 20 feet structure width, 12 feet of projection, shed roof sloping away from the house, charcoal/black standing seam metal, white AZEK fascia and soffit, tongue-and-groove AZEK ceiling, two columns (no center column), and two fans. The kind of space that actually gets used instead of just looking nice in a photo.
Today was the unglamorous part: layout and digging. The rendering is sharp. The holes are just holes. We’ll take the second half of that any day.

🍁 Monday Tip from the Job Site: Check Your Weatherstripping Before the Cold Snap…..
Before the first hard freeze 🥶 rolls through Monmouth and Ocean County, take two minutes and check the weatherstripping on your exterior doors. 🚪
A lot of the drafts people complain about start right there, not deep in the walls. It’s a small fix that makes a real difference once the temperature drops.
If it’s more involved than that, you already know who to call.

Summer of 2023 — rotted wood coming out from all corners and windows, then the finished copper roof and white bay window. 😍Bills and Son hit the metal just right, and the details still look sharp three years later.
Still one of our favorite outdoor projects.
And we keep looking back at these pics thinking the darn thing is winking at us! 😉

Swipe through. We put the starting point at the end, because finished copper is prettier!

This isn’t a patch-and-pray. It’s roof day in this Rumson home.🏡
The storm left a hole. We’re putting a real one back.
The tree affected more than the roof and the ceiling, so we’re checking every critical point the damage reached before we button it up. Fine-tooth comb. No shortcuts.
The parts that keep the house dry and standing get made right, then the new roof goes on.
ADL came through with a last-minute early dumpster this morning. When the demo pile needs a home before the sun is fully up, that call matters.
Storm writes the list. We finish it.

It’s the kind of space where she gets the closet she’s been waiting on 👠… And he gets whatever shelf survives the process. 👞
Oceanport master suite is gutted and cleared up. Now we get to build it right! We stripped the old stuff out and left the bones clean so the real renovation can start. What’s incoming? Their new master bedroom, bath and closet.
That big arched window is already bringing in solid light, and the framing and plumbing are in place so we can move forward without surprises.
Looking forward to turning this into something they both actually want to come home to. 😘

The tree came through the roof. The rafters held. Now the blue boards go back where they belong.
This is the Rumson storm job, a couple weeks past the buckets-on-the-floor chapter. We said the structure held, and they can trust us to put it back right.💪
Scaffold is up. Framing is open. The hole the limb left is getting closed the right way, not with a patch and a prayer. Insulation boards, solid structure, crew on the boards doing the unglamorous part that keeps the pretty rooms dry.
The kitchen and bath were done. The roof had other plans. Jersey weather keeps a punch list of its own.
If the storm writes the next page, the crew still shows up with the scaffold.

Happy Friday, everyone! 🇺🇸🏡
The hammers will be down. The porch chairs are open.
All week we’ve been out here turning houses into homes across Monmouth and north Ocean County — grit, pride, and just enough contractor attitude to keep things interesting. We love making homes look this good and keeping them that way for years to come.
Hold tight. We’ve got a lot in store next week. Fresh projects, new ideas, and plenty of behind-the-scenes goodness. Join us Monday to see what we’re up to.
Wishing you a great Friday and an even better weekend. Whether you’re firing up the grill, claiming a porch chair, or just watching the flag do its thing… soak it in.

🛀 When the old bathroom has to go, we make sure it goes completely.
Little Silver project is officially under construction.
The before shots show what was there—stone tile, glass shower, pebble floor, and the gray vanity.
Once we finished demo, it was studs, insulation, and open framing. No half measures. The subfloor had some stories to tell too.
Next phase is the fun part.🧭👷‍♂️

🏡Now The Exterior Gets It’s Turn.🫶
We’ve been inside this Rumson kitchen working hard. Now the exterior is catching up. Siding came off, HydroGap went on, new Andersen windows dropped in.
And the last pic? Painters are already making the finished side look like it never had a bad day. You can still see the wrap on one elevation — that’s the honest middle of the job. The other side is already white and tight.

We’re not just prettying up the kitchen, we are making sure one side of the house matches perfectly to the other. Nothing to see out here, just some easy curb appeal. 😍
