Hello!

We've shut down the fundraiser for the teenager, because we exceeded the goal and we want to ensure that all money goes to his benefit.

Community members have reached out to provide material goods and we have secured some based on his needs. We will let y'all know if any other pop up.
We are also going to avoid sharing more details about him, as we wish to respect his dignity and anonymity in the community so that hopefully he can live a normal life. Thank you.

We would definitely appreciate continued support by the community, and so if you wish to donate to us in general then you can do so through our website at Brothersplace. org

EDIT: We have closed the fundraiser because we exceeded the goal! We want to ensure that all money goes to his benefit and so do not want to exceed his needs! Thank you so much for your support of this young man!

A teenager in Rome needs your help!

We recently encountered a young man who just aged out of foster care and has been homeless since. He interviewed for our program and is an excellent fit.

He has nothing but the clothes on his back and is going to be entirely dependent upon our program. We are asking you to help us get the funds to cover his entry as well as the costs for things such as acquiring new ID, transportation, etc

There will be a link in the comments to give which includes our fundraising goal.

We want to give a big congratulations to our brother Craig for completing his program with us!

Craig's time with us was great. He has always been incredibly kind and humble. Brothers Place was his first place where he seriously tried to understand his faith and grow in his walk with Jesus.

He is blessed to have an amazing church community, a peaceful home to enjoy his years in and a brotherhood at Brothers Place

The year might be ending, but the events do not!

We are posting so you can go ahead and mark your calendars for upcoming Brothers Place events; details to follow soon.

We had someone come share testimony with us after the Rome's Got Talent event.

She shared about how she had come to this event because a friend had invited her. She had never had any friends or close family in recovery or active substance abuse before, and knew very little on the topic.

After attending the event, hearing all the testimonies and all the real people in recovery on stage, she said "I get it. I get why this is so important!"

That's why events like Rome's Got Talent matter, because someone who came to see local talent also got to see a very important issue and see that

Do you have any moments you'd like to share from the event? Comment below!

WOW! Rome's Got Talent was a hit! It was exciting to see the venue fill up and more seats have to be pulled out.

Our talents, judges, volunteers, sponsors and everyone else who helped make it possible are so deeply appreciated!

We had two awards to give out last night: Judges Choice and People's Choice

John Mulkey was our winner of Judges Choice as he debuted his original song inspired and dedicated to Brothers Place

Isaac Sellers was the Peoples Choice winner as he shared his writing that included his testimony and journey

We'd ask if you got any good pictures or videos of the event please share them in the comments below!

It was a fantastic night that exceeded all of our expectations including in how much it helped fundraise to support Brothers Place's mission :)

We look forward to making this a yearly event that grows bigger and greater! Praise the Lord

We want to thank another amazing sponsor for Rome's Got Talent: Mindset Body Reset

This medical practice has been an incredible blessing to the men of Brothers Place serving as a great primary care that takes the time to really listen to their needs and help them.

Many of our men come back with testimonies about how much care the practice showed them.

Mindset and Body Reset has also sponsored this event and helped make it possible to show rome
