🌡️🔍 Seeing the temperature is one thing. Knowing what’s happening behind the surface is another!

When it comes to identifying potential moisture concerns, infrared cameras and moisture meters are two valuable inspection tools. But here's the catch: they don't do the same job!

💡 What's the difference?

📸 INFRARED CAMERA – Detects temperature variations on surfaces that may indicate areas of concern, including possible moisture-related patterns.

💧 MOISTURE METER – Measures moisture levels in materials to help verify whether an area has elevated moisture.

🔎 WHY USE BOTH? An infrared camera can help identify suspicious temperature patterns, while a moisture meter can provide additional information about moisture conditions. Used together, they give inspectors a more informed picture of potential concerns.

Remember: infrared imaging doesn't directly detect moisture, and neither tool tells the whole story on its own. Experience, proper evaluation, and documentation matter!
