SURFSIDE BEACH HALLOWEEN IS LOOKING A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR!

If you're planning to spend Halloween in Surfside Beach, here's what you need to know.

Saturday, October 31, brings two events:

9 AM–2 PM | Surfside Halloween Charity Car Show

Head to Surfside Drive for classic cars, custom vehicles, and family fun.

Noon–4 PM | SHUCK-O-WEEN

Neal & Pam's and First Avenue South will host live music, a costume contest, face painting, bounce houses, games, and an oyster roast.

Admission to Shuck-O-Ween is FREE. Oyster tickets are purchased separately.

IMPORTANT: There will NOT be a Halloween Golf Cart Parade this year.

That's a change worth sharing with your neighbors!

I've always loved how Surfside Beach manages to keep its small-town personality while giving us something fun to do.

Dr. Screams presents **The Haunting of the Cooper House**, a Halloween experience inside one of Socastee's historic treasures on Dick Pond Road.

Built around 1908, the Cooper House is getting a spooky makeover with live actors, eerie rooms, theatrical storytelling, and unexpected scares.

Some places are magical during the holidays. Brookgreen Gardens is one of them!

Nick and I have experienced Nights of a Thousand Candles firsthand, and the photographs in this post are from our own visit. There is something unforgettable about walking beneath illuminated live oaks and seeing thousands of candles reflected in the water.

If you've never experienced this Lowcountry holiday tradition, put it on your calendar!

Select evenings | 4–9 PM - TIP We went around 6pm. The line of cars to get in was ridicious adn by the time we got inside we didn't have enough time to see everything.. My tip is to plan on getting there for 4pm so you have time to see everything. There is a restaurant and kiosks for snacks and hot chocolate.

Rain or shine, the zombies came out to dance!

A little Thriller magic at Conway's 2026 Graveyard Grand Prix! The weather may have been frightful, but that didn't stop the Halloween fun in downtown Conway, South Carolina.

Turn up the volume and enjoy the performance!

Only in Conway do you see coffins racing down Main Street!

Rain, umbrellas, creative costumes, and some seriously imaginative coffin designs made the 2026 Graveyard Grand Prix one to remember.

Even Reese and Bella braved the weather to join the fun!
