🏡 **Meet Susan Bentley of Howard Hanna: A New Chapter, A Heart for People**

Sometimes, the best new beginnings happen when life gives us a little room to discover what comes next. For Susan Bentley, real estate became just that—a new adventure and a career that feels like a natural fit.

A Brockport-area native, Susan spent many years working as a dental hygienist while raising her three children as a single mom. It was a busy life filled with hard work, dedication, and plenty of love. Today, she has the joy of watching her children thrive. Two are physician assistants, and her third works in the human services field. And if you ask Susan what makes her smile the biggest, it just might be her four grandchildren, all under the age of four! Any free time she has is precious time spent with them. ❤️

Once her children were grown and establishing their own lives, Susan found herself with a little more flexibility in her evenings and weekends. Having always been interested in homes, she decided to follow that curiosity and completed her real estate licensing course online. Before she knew it, she was embarking on a midlife career change—and discovering something she was truly meant to do.

Susan brings a special kind of warmth to real estate. She is a wonderful listener, pays close attention to the details, and has a natural ability to connect with people. She understands that buying or selling a home is about so much more than a property. It’s about people, life changes, and finding the right place to call home.

Her journey is a lovely reminder that it’s never too late to try something new, follow an interest, and find a career that brings both purpose and joy.

**MEETING ROCHESTER REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL ADRIENNE DEFAZIO**

If there is one thing that seems to define Adrienne DeFazio, it is her willingness to embrace a challenge—and make things happen.

A Greece native and graduate of Greece Olympia High School, Adrienne went on to Brockport College, where she earned a degree in Communication. Perhaps fittingly, she always imagined herself in the spotlight and once dreamed of becoming a news anchor. While her career took a different direction, her communication skills and natural ability to connect with people have become valuable assets in her real estate career.

Before entering real estate, Adrienne worked in medical billing and later became Director of Admissions at Shear Ego. When the business temporarily closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Adrienne saw an opportunity to take a chance on herself. She decided it was time to try her hand at real estate.

She hasn't looked back.

Today, Adrienne is a real estate professional with Blue Arrow Real Estate, where her highly motivated personality, communication skills and determination have helped her build her business. Always up for a challenge, Adrienne has a reputation for being someone who doesn't simply wait for things to happen—she makes them happen.

Away from the office, Adrienne's biggest project may be the one happening in Webster, where she and her husband are building their dream home. The couple has a blended family that includes her husband's 20-year-old son, along with their 12-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son.

Family life keeps them busy, including cheering on their daughter, who currently plays travel soccer.

From dreaming of a career in front of the camera to finding her calling in real estate, Adrienne DeFazio's story is one of reinvention, determination and embracing the unexpected. Sometimes the biggest opportunities come when life forces you to take a different path—and Adrienne appears to be making the most of hers.
