🍽️ 5-Ingredient Dinner You Can Make in 20 Minutes

Busy night? This easy Honey Garlic Chicken & Broccoli comes together quickly with just five ingredients.

You’ll need:

🍗 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
🥦 3 cups broccoli florets
🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
🍯 2 tablespoons honey
🥢 ¼ cup soy sauce

How to make it:

Cook the chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through.
Add the broccoli and garlic and cook until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
Stir together the honey and soy sauce, then pour over the chicken and broccoli.
Toss everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce has slightly thickened.

That’s it! Serve it on its own or over rice if you have some handy. 🍚

🛏️ **3 Ways to Make a Small Bedroom Feel Bigger**

You don’t need more square footage to make your bedroom feel more spacious. A few simple changes can make a surprisingly big difference.

🪞 **1. Use mirrors strategically**
A large mirror reflects both light and the room itself, helping a smaller space feel brighter and more open.

🪟 **2. Hang your curtains higher**
Mount curtain rods several inches above the window — or closer to the ceiling — and let the curtains extend toward the floor. It draws the eye upward and can make the room feel taller.

🧺 **3. Get clutter off the floor**
Use under-bed storage, baskets and vertical shelving to keep belongings organized. The more visible floor space you have, the larger the room tends to feel.

✨ **Bonus tip:** Keep larger pieces simple and add personality with pillows, artwork and accessories. You can still have plenty of style in a small space!

**What’s your favorite trick for making a small room feel bigger?**

🏠 Does your required renters insurance cover your belongings?

Not necessarily — and that's something every renter should know.

The insurance coverage required by your apartment community may protect against certain damage you're responsible for to the apartment itself — such as flooring, appliances or other property damage following a covered incident.

But what about your stuff?

📺 TV
💻 Laptop
🛋️ Furniture
👗 Clothing
🚲 Bicycle
💍 Personal belongings

Those items are not covered by the insurance required by your community.

If you want protection for your personal belongings, you may need to purchase personal property coverage as part of your renters insurance policy.

Before assuming you're covered, check your policy and ask your insurance provider:

“Does my policy include personal property coverage, and how much coverage do I have?”

Knowing what's covered before something happens can make a big difference.

Insurance requirements and coverage vary. Residents should review their individual policy and speak with their insurance provider regarding coverage, limits and exclusions.

POV: You said you were just going to look at ONE thing at Target. 🎯

45 minutes later…

🛒 New throw pillows
🕯️ Three candles
🪴 A plant you definitely needed
🧺 Two storage baskets
☕ A seasonal coffee mug
💸 And somehow… $147 later.

But did you remember the ONE thing you went in for? 😂

Be honest: What’s the one Target aisle you can’t walk past without putting something in your cart?

🚫 What should you NEVER put down your garbage disposal?

Your garbage disposal can handle a lot — but some things are better left in the trash.

Avoid putting these down the drain:

🥓 Grease, fats & oils — they can harden and clog pipes
☕ Coffee grounds — they can collect in pipes and create buildup
🥚 Eggshells — the membranes can wrap around disposal parts
🥔 Potato peels — starch can turn into a thick, sticky paste
🍝 Pasta & rice — they expand with water and can cause clogs
🥬 Celery, corn husks & other fibrous foods — fibers can tangle around the blades
🦴 Bones & fruit pits — too hard for most disposals
🧽 Non-food items — including paper towels, wipes, plastic, glass or metal

Quick tip: Run cold water while using your disposal and for several seconds afterward to help move food particles through the pipes.

Following these guidelines will prevent unnecessary clogging and repairs. 😬
