Dad took Roe to the volleyball game and somehow managed to give her one of those core-memory moments. 🥹❤️

She got to meet Harper Murray, and to say she was STOKED would be an understatement. 😂 And yes… Mom was doing a little fan-girling right along with her from home. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Then Roe posted their picture and Harper liked it. Y’all… you would have thought she won the lottery.

But beyond the excitement, this moment means so much more. Representation matters. ❤️

There’s something incredibly special about watching your daughter see someone who looks like her competing in a sport she loves, at a level she dreams of reaching someday.

So grateful she got this moment with Harper, and even more grateful that Roe has someone she can look up to who reminds her to…

Shoutout to the friend who doesn’t ask too many questions. 🥂

I came to Candace with an idea that most people would have laughed at. She looked at me, said “you’re crazy” and then immediately started helping me plan it.

That’s a real business partner. That’s a real friend.

Together we’re converting a Benson rental into something Omaha genuinely doesn’t have. Something intimate. Something bold. Something spicy. Something for adults who appreciate a curated experience.

Some real estate stories wrap up in 30 days.

Others test your patience, your faith, and your ability to keep moving forward.

The Mosleys’ journey was definitely the second.

Their goal was to make it back to Omaha, but getting here wasn’t easy. The sale of their home came with plenty of twists and turns. We found a house they loved… only to walk away after the inspections revealed it wasn’t the right fit. There were moments when it felt like every answer led to another question.

Instead of forcing something to happen, we slowed down.

We spent months evaluating the market, watching interest rates, running numbers, and waiting until the timing made financial sense for their family. It wasn’t always fun, and it certainly wasn’t always easy.

But patience has a way of paying off.

This week, we closed on a home that checks all the boxes for where they are today. Even better? It also positions them for tomorrow. The plan isn’t just to own this home… it’s to build equity, create opportunity, and turn it into an investment property when the time is right to make their next move.

That’s what I love about real estate.

It’s not about chasing the first house or rushing to the closing table. It’s about having the patience to make decisions that set your family up for years, not just months.

To the Mosley family—thank you for trusting the process, asking the hard questions, and never losing sight of your long-term goals. The road wasn’t straight, but it led exactly where it was supposed to.

Not every real estate transaction should end with a “For Sale” sign.

That might sound like an odd thing for a REALTOR® to say… but it’s the truth.

A few years ago, I helped the Jones family move back to Omaha. Recently, they called because they were ready to upgrade into a home that better fit their family’s needs.

The easy answer? Sell their current home.

The better answer? Keep it.

After reviewing their finances, equity, and long-term goals, it became clear they were in a fantastic position to purchase their next home without selling the one they already owned. Instead, we created a plan to turn their current home into a rental property. I connected them with the resources they needed to become landlords, and together we found a beautiful new home where they can make memories for years to come.

Here’s something I wish more people knew:

A REALTOR® shouldn’t just help you buy or sell a house. They should help you make the smartest decision for your future. Even if that decision doesn’t create the biggest paycheck.

Could I have made more if they sold their home too? Absolutely.

But my job isn’t to maximize one transaction. It’s to help my clients maximize opportunities that can impact their lives for years to come.

Sometimes the best move is selling.
Sometimes it’s buying.
And sometimes, the best investment is keeping what you already have.
