❤️ **A Little Note From Our Family to Yours — Bison Ridge Resort**
Since opening our doors in May 2023, we've had the privilege of welcoming wonderful guests to our little slice of heaven in southeastern Oklahoma. With 70+ five-star reviews, we're incredibly proud of what we've built and grateful for every guest who has chosen to make memories with us.
With recent changes to Airbnb and Vrbo fee structures and the rising costs of operating vacation rentals, we wanted to share a little perspective from behind the scenes. These increases affect hosts, but ultimately impact guests, too. We haven't raised our rates in response yet, but we may need to make adjustments soon. Keeping our cabins beautiful, affordable, and sustainable remains our priority.
**Let's talk about cleaning. 🧹**
We travel and stay in vacation rentals, too! We believe the last thing anyone should be doing on vacation is cleaning someone else's house.
Our checkout requests have always been simple: load and start the dishwasher, gather used towels, and put full trash bags in the bins. No stripping beds, scrubbing floors, or spending your last morning cleaning!
These small courtesies make a BIG difference to our hardworking cleaners, especially on same-day turnovers when we have just a few hours to prepare for excited guests arriving at 4 PM. Our cleaners are people, too, and we appreciate everything they do.

Behind Bison Ridge Resort isn't a corporation or a big investment group. It's a mom and a blue-collar dad raising a family, working hard, and building something we're proud of.
We've painted cabinets, installed fixtures, hauled furniture, renovated rooms, and poured our own blood, sweat, and tears into these cabins. We've made sacrifices, worked long nights, and faced plenty of challenges along the way.
And we'd do it again.
Because we LOVE sharing these beautiful places with you.
Bring your kids, your pets, your sweetheart, or your best friends. Celebrate milestones, soak in the hot tub, sit under the stars, and make memories that last a lifetime. That's why we do this!
We hope to offer direct bookings soon and eventually add more beautiful properties in eastern Oklahoma.
Until then, our promise remains the same: beautiful well-kept cabins, reasonable prices, and a welcoming experience for guests who treat our homes and the people caring for them with kindness and respect.
We're just a family trying to build something meaningful while navigating life like everyone else.
