You may have heard that now is a terrible time in the real estate market. Here’s what I’m seeing:
2 closed. 2 under contract. All in the last few weeks, right here in the Triangle. 📣
Yes, rates are higher, homes are taking a little longer to sell, and price adjustments are more common than they were a couple of years ago. That doesn’t mean the market has stopped. It means it’s moving at a more normal pace.
If you’re a seller, here’s the part nobody talks about:
✔️ The buyers out right now are serious. They aren’t just browsing. They’re ready to move.
✔️ A price adjustment isn’t a failure. It’s a strategy, and homes may still take a bit of time after an adjustment to go under contract.
✔️ If you’re moving up, the same market works in your favor on your next home. You’ll have more choices, more room to negotiate, and less competition.
✔️ There are creative tools on the table, like seller credits toward a buyer’s rate, that can help your home stand out without a big price cut.
The market didn’t stop. It just asks for a smarter plan, and that’s where I come in.
Thinking about selling, or wondering what your home could sell for right now? DM me. I’ll give you the real numbers and an honest plan.
