Happy 9th! ⛺️Imagine looking out at Lake Champlain on this day in 1776 (October 9-11).
If you were standing right here in Upstate New York, you wouldn't just see peaceful sailboats-you would have seen Benedict Arnold's fleet on these very waters, preparing for the historic Battle of Valcour Island to secure our northern border.
