Don’t let a 7% mortgage rate scare you out of the market.
Mortgage rates have always fluctuated — and while 7% feels higher compared to historically low rates we got used to, it’s not unusual when you look at the bigger picture.

And remember: the Fed doesn’t directly set mortgage rates. Rates can move up or down regardless of the latest Fed announcement.

The better question isn’t “Are rates perfect?“ It’s “Does buying make sense for me right now?”

☀️ Buyers, this is a great tool! If you Google Shade Map, it shows a simulation of where sunlight and shadows fall at different times of day and throughout the year. This would be particular helpful if you are homebuyer or homeowner who’s interested in knowing things like:

• Will this backyard actually get afternoon sun?
• Will the patio be shaded at 4–6 PM?
• If we put a pool here, will it be sitting in sun or
shade?
• How much winter sunlight does the house receive?
• Will neighboring houses block the sun?
• Does that big tree shade most of the backyard?
