IT’S OFFICIAL — MARIONBERRY WON! 🥧

Marionberry is this year’s Thanksgiving pie flavor! Apple came in a close second, losing by just 5 votes! Thank you to everyone who participated in our pie flavor vote!

Pie reservations and donation requests are officially OPEN!

Here’s what you need to know:

🥧 Pie Flavor: Marionberry

🏡 Delivery: Pies will be delivered directly to your door during Thanksgiving week. The exact date and time are still TBD, and we’ll update everyone once confirmed with Elka Bee's Coffee & Bakery - Clackamas !

📅 Reservation Deadline: November 8

📝 One pie reservation per unit.

🥧 THANKSGIVING PIE VOTE IS HERE! 🥧

’Tis the start of the fall and holiday season, and we’re excited to announce that RCM Properties is once again giving every resident a Thanksgiving pie! ❤️

After the complexity of offering multiple flavors last year, we’ve decided to narrow it down this time around — YOU get to choose the flavor! 🎉

Everyone gets ONE vote, and whichever pie flavor receives the most votes will be this year’s official Thanksgiving pie for all residents!

A big THANK YOU to Coin Meter Company for the spiffy new laundry machines at Benford Court Apartment Homes! 🧺

They came in, got everything installed, and were in and out in just 4 hours! Talk about speedy service! 👏

The laundry room is officially BACK OPEN and ready to go! 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate our 4th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway! ✏️🍎

Keep an eye out in the mail for our special Back-to-School Cards! Any resident with a child ages 2–18 listed on their lease will receive a card with a small gift to help with school supplies. 🎁

**Summer Heat, Wildfire Season & Power Outage Preparedness**

Dear Residents,

With the recent extreme heat and wildfire activity across Oregon, emergency officials are encouraging everyone to be prepared for the possibility of power outages. More than **400,000 acres have burned** across the state so far this season, and periods of high temperatures can place additional strain on the electrical grid.

**PGE recommends preparing a "Summer Outage Kit"** with essentials such as:

* Flashlights and extra batteries
* Cell phone chargers that can be used in your vehicle
* Bottled water
* Nonperishable food
* Any medications or other important supplies

If you or someone in your household relies on electricity for a medical condition or life-sustaining equipment, please contact **PGE** to enroll in their **Medical Certificate Program**.

To help reduce demand on the electrical grid, utility officials are also asking residents to limit electricity use during **peak hours (5:00–8:00 PM)** by postponing the use of dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and other high-energy appliances whenever possible.

If your home loses power, **please contact management before setting up a generator.** For everyone's safety, generators **must never be operated inside an apartment, garage, or other enclosed space**, as they can produce deadly carbon monoxide.

🇺🇸 **4th of July Community Reminder** 🇺🇸

Dear Residents,

As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, we want to wish you a safe and happy holiday!

Please remember that **fireworks of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property.** This includes sparklers, fountains, firecrackers, bottle rockets, Roman candles, and all other fireworks.

Our office will be **closed Friday, July 3**. If you have a maintenance emergency during the closure, please call our office at **941-214-4202** and leave a message with our emergency answering service. Non-emergency requests will be handled when we reopen.
