One of the most popular sayings in real estate today is also one of the most misunderstood: “Marry the house, date the rate.”

While interest rates may change, your financial comfort should always come first. Buying a home isn’t about stretching your budget today and hoping for a better rate tomorrow.

Know your budget. Stay within your means. Choose a home you can comfortably afford at today’s rate.

On November 3, Florida voters will decide Amendment 3, one of the biggest property tax proposals in years. 🗳️

Here's the short version. It would raise the homestead exemption on non-school property taxes, lower the yearly cap on assessment increases for non-homestead property, and limit how local governments spend property tax dollars. It needs 60% approval to pass, and nothing changes on your 2026 tax bill either way.

Who knew a moving truck company would be one of the most reliable ways to track where America is actually headed? 🚛

U-Haul's 2026 Midyear Migration Report tracked a full year of real one-way rentals, not surveys, actual trucks, trailers, and containers, across all 50 states. When they broke it down by generation, one detail stood out above the rest: Florida is the only state in the country ranked in the top 10 for every single generation.

Boomers, Gen X, Millennials... even Gen Z shows up, just not quite the way you'd expect (swipe to see why 👀).
