A little advice for anyone who’s recently bought a home: give yourself some time to live in it before making all those big changes!

You’ll start to notice where the best natural light comes in, which rooms you spend the most time in, where you could really use more storage, and which things you thought you’d want to change actually work just fine. There’s nothing wrong with having renovation plans! But giving yourself a few months to settle in can help you make decisions you’ll be happier with in the long run.

And who knows, you might end up loving a few things you originally planned to change...

My latest listing at 60 Marwood Road was listed for $149,900 and ultimately sold for $216,000 after strong buyer interest and multiple offers.

The Rochester market may be shifting a bit, but that doesn’t mean competition has disappeared. What I’m seeing varies significantly depending on the price point, neighborhood and the individual property — which makes understanding how to position and price a home just as important as ever.

Most importantly, I’m so happy for my seller and grateful they trusted me to guide them through the process. Congratulations on a great sale!

Most of my business comes from referrals, and that’s exactly how I like it.

One of the best parts of that is how connected everyone becomes over the years. A client introduces me to a friend, then a sibling, a parent or a neighbor, and before I know it, I’ve gotten to know an entire circle of people.

I’ve been invited to weddings, birthdays and celebrations. I’ve watched families grow and helped the same families through different seasons of life.

The houses are obviously a big part of what I do, but the relationships are what have made me love doing it for the last 12 years. 🤍
