Median home prices across the South Hills.
A median is the middle sale. Half sold for more, half for less. So you'll find homes above and below these numbers depending on size, condition, lot, and updates.
Even inside one neighborhood the range is wide. In Bethel Park, closed sales from July to September went from $68k to $670k.
The takeaway: which neighborhood you start with moves your budget more than almost anything else. From Mt. Washington to Peters Twp, the median gap is $336k.
