Most agents will start planning 2027 in January.

By then, your first quarter is already decided.

Here is why. We all know, real estate runs on a delayed sales cycle. The conversations you have in October through December determine your first quarter performance.

That means if you wait until New Year’s to set goals, you are planning for a quarter that is already written.

I am sitting down one-on-one with our agents this week. We go over their numbers. Their goals. Their pipeline. What worked in 2026 and what they want to build in 2027.

The goal is not a resolution. It is a plan with dates attached and actionable steps to achieve their goals.

Here is what that looks like:

1️⃣ Set the annual number.
2️⃣ Work backward to the daily and weekly activities it takes.
3️⃣ Create accountability for those activities
4️⃣ Start that activity now, not on January 2nd.

Agents: if you have not opened your 2027 plan yet, this is your sign. Start today.
