𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
I told Dawn something during this conversation that stayed with me.

After experiencing homelessness herself and finally escaping it, she could have walked away from that chapter forever.

Instead, she picked up the broken pieces of that experience, melted them in the fire, molded them into armor, and went back in to help pull other people out.

Her response was simple:

“𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲.”

That is what makes this story so powerful.

HELP NOW Arizona did not come from theory. It came from lived experience, pain, responsibility, and the decision to turn survival into service.

HELP NOW Arizona is doing meaningful work for families facing hunger, homelessness, and difficult situations right here around us.

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

A lost job. A medical emergency. Rent going up. A car breaking down. One unexpected situation can push a family from barely holding on to suddenly needing help.

And sometimes the hardest part is admitting how serious the situation has become.

That is where organizations like HELP NOW Arizona matter.

They are not just talking about homelessness. They are reaching families before things get worse and connecting them with meaningful resources, support, and a path forward.

Sometimes preventing homelessness starts with reaching people before they lose everything.

HELP NOW Arizona started with Dawn and her husband working out of their garage.

Today, the organization is creating impact month after month by helping families with food, school supplies, basic needs, mentorship, and community support.

That is what happens when someone sees a problem and decides to do something about it.

One family helping another family can eventually become an entire community helping thousands.

She says 1 in 5 children in our community may be facing hunger, homelessness, or another at risk situation.

These are not distant statistics.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁.

Hunger is not a problem happening somewhere else. It is happening in our own schools and our own communities.

𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟲,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘀, and every single bag carries something extra on the outside:
