Thinking about selling in 2027? The work starts before the sign goes in the yard.
One thing I tell my clients is that you don’t want to be making every decision about your home at the same time you’re trying to get it ready for market.
The last few months of the year are a good time to take an objective look at the house. What actually needs attention? What has been sitting on your to do list? Are there repairs worth handling now, or would that money be better left alone?
I’d also start pulling together your home records, getting a handle on any larger maintenance items and looking at the smaller updates that could make a difference in how the home shows. Not every project is worth doing before you sell, and knowing where to spend money is just as important as knowing what to fix.
If a 2027 move is on your radar, now is a good time to start the conversation. I can help you separate the projects that are worth doing from the ones you can skip, based on your home and what buyers are actually responding to in your part of the Valley.
