A little fireplace wall appreciation from our custom build!

Wall paneling seems to be making its way into more and more of the homes we're building, and we love seeing the different ways designers are using it.

What looks relatively simple in the finished space actually takes quite a bit of planning and coordination behind the scenes. Big thanks to Public House Creative and Arcadia Trim Co for working together to get all the little details just right.

After months of hard work, dusty boots, and a whole lot of moving parts, this home is just about ready for its new owners.

We’re down to the final details before handing over the keys late next week.

And trust us, there’s a whole lot more to love beyond what you can see from the street. Stay tuned!

What's one of the best qualities a general contractor can have?

A short-term memory. Yep, you read that right.

Running a construction company comes with some incredible days, some challenging ones, and just about everything in between. But I've learned that one of the most valuable things you can do is not let yesterday dictate how you approach today.

Celebrate the wins. Learn from the setbacks. Then reset and get back after it.

Here's my take on why it applies to construction and owning a small business, too.

One take. No cuts. No splices. Just my thoughts.

The framers are moving fast at our custom build!

A couple more weeks of framing before the rough-in trades start rolling through.

And can we talk about that early morning Arizona sky? Not a bad way to start the day!

We’re down to the final details at in Paradise Valley Farms!

It’s been a fun one from start to finish, but as much as we love building beautiful homes, we love finishing them even more. Handing over the keys never gets old!

A space dedicated to the art of a good cocktail! This home bar has everything you need without taking up more room than necessary. And with a bi-fold window opening to outdoor bar seating, there's plenty of opportunity to put those bartending skills to the test. Cheers to that!

A few favorite kitchens from the Rafterhouse archives. Clean and contemporary, layered and traditional, and plenty in between. Which style would you choose for home?
