During a recent roof inspection, Matt came across an uncommon find! 👀 A relatively flat patio roof covered with composition shingles.

Here’s the problem: Composition shingles aren’t designed for relatively flat roof surfaces. They need adequate slope to shed water properly. When installed on a low-slope roof, water can drain slowly, increasing the risk of leaks and moisture damage.

It’s another reminder that the right roofing material and proper installation matter!
