WE DID IT… TWICE! 🎉🎃

Thanks to all of you, we didn’t just hit our fundraising goal, we blew past it two times! Together we’ve raised over $3,500 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the team that saved our grandson Monty and has cared for him ever since. 🧡

Tomorrow morning our family is walking in the Spooktacular Sprint & 5K, and my heart is so full. Every single gift, share and kind word has meant the world to us.

Why I am doing it: When my grandson, Monty, was just three months old, he began having seizures caused by dangerously low blood sugar. Phoenix Children’s quickly identified the problem and diagnosed him with congenital hyperinsulinism, a rare condition our family had never heard of. Their team cared for him, and for all of us, for eight days until he was stable enough to go home. Their quick action likely saved him from severe brain damage or other life-threatening complications.??
He’s been under their care ever since and, with treatment, hasn’t had another seizure. When he was hospitalized again this past summer, they once again gave him exceptional care and attention. Our family is forever grateful to the team who saved my grandson’s life, discovered his rare diagnosis, and continues to care for him with so much compassion. 🎃👻
