Our team members have put David Weekley Homes back at No. 1 on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ list among large companies.

The 2026 ranking is based on confidential employee feedback about trust, leadership, company values, and workplace experience. We first earned the top spot in 2022 and ranked second for the following three years.

These new homeowners aren't just closing on their dream home, they're part of the David Weekley Homes family too. From building homes for others to now building their own future, this milestone means more than most. At David Weekley Homes, family isn't just a word we use, it's how we operate, and moments like this prove it. Congratulations, and welcome home!

"Everyone we've worked with has been amazing. From our very first "let's just go see" visit through selling our place while monitoring our new build from afar, then finally moving in...it's been a stellar experience from start to finish. We're so happy to be here and we love our place so much!" - Erica H in Hillsboro, OR

There is incredible power in knowing a community stands behind you.

David Weekley Homes was honored to join Building Homes For Heroes and fellow supporters in welcoming U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Gregory Walker to his new home in Monterra in Fate, Texas.

Receiving the keys represents more than a move. It marks a new chapter filled with greater stability, comfort, and hope, and serves as a reminder that Gregory’s service and sacrifices will not be forgotten.

We’re grateful to stand alongside a community committed to building brighter futures for our nation’s heroes.

Welcome home, Gregory.

A beautiful home can still be the wrong home.

Before falling for the finishes, take a closer look at the decisions that shape daily life: location, floor plan, community, taxes and how the spaces support your routine.

If you’re buying new, research the builder’s reputation, warranty and homeowner experience. If you’re considering resale, make an independent inspection part of your plan. Preparation can help you look beyond first impressions and choose with greater confidence.
