🌡️ THIS IS WHY THERMAL IMAGING MATTERS! 🔍🏠

During a recent home inspection of a newly constructed home, We discovered a hidden plumbing leak behind the wall using thermal imaging.

👀 To the naked eye, there were no obvious signs of a leak. No visible water. No obvious staining. Nothing that would have immediately raised suspicion.

But thermal imaging revealed an unusual temperature pattern on the wall that warranted further investigation. After looking closer, and verifying with a moisture meter, the source of the issue was identified as a plumbing leak hidden behind the finished wall.

This is just one example of how modern technology can help identify conditions that may otherwise go unnoticed during a visual inspection.

Using the correct screws for a breaker panel cover might seem like a tiny detail, but it’s actually a big deal. Panel covers are designed for short, blunt-tipped screws. When someone swaps those out for whatever pointy drywall screw they had in their pocket… that’s when problems start.

The wrong screws can easily pierce a wire inside the panel, which can lead to:
🔥 A potential electrical fire
⚡ A short circuit
😳 Or one incredibly bad day!

All of this is completely preventable with one simple step: use the proper panel screws.

Today’s crawlspace inspection was going smoothly… until I came face-to-face with a skunk standing guard like he owned the place. 🦨
I took that as my cue to respectfully exit and let him continue his “supervision.”
I figured avoiding a surprise cologne upgrade right before my anniversary dinner was the smart move!
