We survived the storm! A few missing shingles and lots of debris. The power is back on and the cleanup has started. More cleanup photos and video coming tomorrow.

Couldn't go to bed before venturing out to Ocean Terrace to check on your home away from home. We lost power about 5:15 this evening, had some downpours and lots of wind! Looks like the gulf may have came up to about the third or fourth step but did not wash away the sand dunes. Looks like everything is OK but will check that out better in the morning. I did see some shingles laying around, but those could've came from anywhere.

Sleep well everyone and hope everyone fares out as well as we did!

As we look outside right now, it's hard to believe what’s heading our way. The eerie quiet and deceivingly calm skies are the classic signature of the calm before the storm. Hurricane Isaias is on the horizon, and it’s time to take this threat seriously.
