Before tip-off: The Florida Aquarium is right next to the arena, with Sparkman Wharf and the Tampa Riverwalk steps away.

Make it a weekend: Clearwater Beach at sunset, shelling on Honeymoon Island, Greek food at the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, and the St. Pete Pier.

Bay Breezes in Ozona sleeps 12, so the whole team stays under one roof, with a game room, arcade, movie room, hot tub, fire pit and golf cart. About 40 minutes from the arena.

Halloween weekend just opened up at Bay Breezes, Oct 30 – Nov 1. 🎃

Friday: trick-or-treat and the costume contest in downtown Dunedin (5–8 pm), the Palm Harbor Halloween Carnival (6–9 pm), or Fall-O-Ween at Coachman Park in Clearwater (6–10 pm).

Saturday: Hocus Pocus at the Dunedin Library (11 am), the Tarpon Springs Trunk or Treat in the historic district (2–6:30 pm), and for the grown-ups, The Halloween Party at the Cuban Club in Ybor (8 pm, tickets required).

Sunday: clocks fall back, so spend the extra hour at the beach.

Back at the house: sleeps 12, scary movie night in the movie room, giant backyard games, a hot tub, and porch coffee in the morning.
