Pathlight HOME Pathlight HOME is ending homelessness in Central Florida through housing, supportive services, and employment assistance. Starting a Facebook fundraiser?

Search for Grand Avenue Economic Community (GAEC) as the charitable organization. Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. Now in our 25th year, we are Central Florida’s first and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for homeless men, women and families. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corporation, we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neighbors through our “housing first” philosophy. Today, more than 600 residents receive safe, dignified housing and the supportive services of a team of social workers to help them stay housed. Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s Café. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.

When our outreach specialist team found Christina F., her car was what she called home.

As an individual facing homelessness over the age of 50, we enrolled her in our Three Bridges program, which provided her with immediate, emergency housing.

“It was really hard without a roof, but Pathlight opened the door, and I’m really grateful for this program,” Christina shared.

Since being moved into housing, Christina is relieved to have a roof over her head, food around the corner, and real support. 🏠💜
