📰 A lot happened around Orlando in September! Lake Nona began testing autonomous vehicles with local riders. Downtown parking went fully digital. New businesses opened, Brightline introduced more flexible fares, and fall brought everything from Halloween screenings to new events and seasonal experiences.

There were also bigger developments to watch, including Orange County's discussion around data centers, new international flights from MCO, and more major events coming to Orlando.

First home. Lake Mary. And yes, there’s a pool 😎 Our first-time buyer found this 2-bedroom, 2-bath home in The Reserve at the Crossings and got a lot more than a place to call home. The bright, updated interior, screened pool, solar panels, and major system updates made it an easy fit, while we were also able to negotiate a 3% seller credit to help with the purchase.

Now they have a home with room to enjoy Florida living, a location close to everything Lake Mary has to offer, and a pretty great pool waiting in the backyard. Not a bad way to start homeownership.

Orlando was recently named the number one place to retire in the U.S., and there is more to the story than sunshine and theme parks.

For retirees considering Central Florida, Southwest Orlando offers a mix of lifestyle options that can look very different depending on where you choose to live. Think golf and lake communities in Windermere, restaurants and convenience in Dr. Phillips, newer communities and an active downtown in Winter Garden, or more space and outdoor recreation in Clermont.
