Aerospace and defense expansion is driving industrial demand across Brevard County, home to Florida's Space Coast. The county's supply is trying to catch up.

Much of Brevard's existing industrial space is aging and largely occupied, so tenants that need modern facilities have found limited availability. Some have moved west into Southeast Orange County, while developers are now responding with a new wave of projects closer to the coast.

For owners and investors, that means growing demand in two places: new development on the Space Coast and added tenant interest in Southeast Orange County.

Big congratulations to our President, Trent Scott, CCIM, on receiving CORFAC International's 2026 Thomas B. Hayes Jr. Award.

The award goes to brokers who bring innovative, creative ideas to commercial real estate brokerage and share them with the rest of the network. That's how Trent works. He's always testing a new approach, asking how we can do things better, and passing what he learns along to the people around him.

Being recognized by peers across the CORFAC network means a lot, and it's well deserved. We're proud to have him leading our team.

Orlando and Tampa are coming out of the same apartment construction boom differently.

In Orlando, renter demand is catching up with new supply, and demand is expected to outpace new deliveries in 2026. Tampa still has more supply to absorb before reaching the same balance.

For Orlando owners and investors, it’s an encouraging shift toward firmer occupancy and eventually stronger pricing. In Tampa, the supply overhang is still putting more pressure on rents and occupancy.

The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Orlando (CRA) is soliciting proposals from qualified developers for the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of the 10-story historic commercial building located at 1 North Orange Avenue into a mixed-use development pursuant to a triple net lease

All interested parties are invited to submit proposals for the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of the building as set forth in the solicitation document.

Last week, 10 of our FCPG team members were in the Windy City for the 2026 CORFAC International Fall Summit. It was four days with independent brokers from across the network, comparing notes on what's moving in their markets and what isn't.

Why does it matter for our clients here in Central Florida? The CORFAC network has 70+ offices that close more than 10,000 transactions a year, worth about $10 billion. When a client needs a deal done outside Orlando, we're one phone call away from someone we've actually sat across the table from.
