Seattle weekend dump 📸☔️🍷🏈

Best friends back home, then Seattle with my wife. A cute Craftsman by UW, the Huskies game, the farmers market, great food, good w**e, and our favorite breakfast spot. 🥂

We met amazing people everywhere we went and made some awesome new connections. Seattle always feels like home because it is: we’re Washington locals through and through. 🌲

Plot twist: we booked almost the exact same trip last year without realizing it. Guess we know what we like. 😂

I WANT MY KIDS TO OUTDO ME IN EVERY WAY. ❤️

I was talking with my parents recently about raising kids, and something they shared really stuck with me. They told me that one of their greatest hopes as parents was that their children would grow up to have even better lives than they did.

And I couldn’t agree more.

It’s something my wife and I believe in wholeheartedly, and something we strive for as we raise our own two kids.

Every generation should have the opportunity to build on the one before it.

Learn from our experiences. Learn from our mistakes. Take the good things we’ve passed along and make them even better.

Keep growing. Keep learning. Adapt. Improve. Move forward. Take chances. Explore the world. Find your own path.

My wife and I don’t expect our kids to follow in our footsteps or become little versions of us. We want them to discover who they are, what they love, and what makes them happy.

We hope they’ll be wiser in places where we weren’t, stronger through life’s challenges, kinder to others, and brave enough to pursue dreams we may never have imagined.

And hopefully, along the way, they’ll take everything we’ve taught them and build something even greater.

That’s what family and raising the next generation mean to us. Not trying to recreate ourselves, but helping our children become the very best versions of themselves.

Looking back, I realize that’s what my parents wanted for me, too. And now it’s what we want for our children.

We’re all just trying to leave the next generation a little better prepared, a little more capable, and with even more opportunities than we had.

Be smarter. Go further. Love deeper. Dream bigger. Live fully.

And someday, when our kids are raising families of their own, I hope they’ll want the exact same thing for their children.

That’s how a family grows. That’s how a legacy continues.

Always growing. Always improving. Always moving forward. ❤️

👻 MY MOM CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN OFF GHOSTBUSTERS IN HER RIVIAN! 😂🚙

And my dad says a GHOST FLEW BEHIND HIS TRUCK on the backup camera while parked at Lowe’s! 👻🤣

Our daughter changed Grandma and Grandpa’s Rivian to Ghostbusters mode while they were babysitting this week, and now Grandma’s laughing, saying, “I don’t even know how to change it back!” 😂

I grew up loving Ghostbusters, and now my kids do too! ❤️🎃 I love these little family moments. Halloween, grandparents, grandkids, and a haunted Rivian! Who you gonna call? 👻

From the tennis courts of Washington to Maui, California & Dubai… and now back on the court with my son. 🎾❤️

Before I was a broker, I was a tennis pro. One of my greatest mentors was Steve Johnson, who I taught alongside in San Clemente. Rest in peace, Steve. He taught me that great tennis starts with FORM, not hitting harder.

I never pushed Wyatt into tennis. I waited until HE asked ME. Now he wants to practice every day and even made his own schedule 😂

Foam balls. Short courts. Proper strokes. No shortcuts.

Maybe he’ll play tournaments someday. Maybe not. It’s his journey, and I’m just lucky to be part of it.

Same thing I’ve learned in 15+ years of real estate: build the foundation first, and the results follow.

Out of state. Right on the water. SOLD. 🌊

My out-of-state buyers just closed on their Mason County waterfront home. 🔑

More physicians, medical professionals, executives and transitioning military families are calling me before they ever land in Washington. They want the inside read on neighborhoods, commutes, water and land from someone who grew up here.

On high-bank waterfront, my rule is diagnosis before treatment. The order matters:

1️⃣ Read the location. Start with the local knowledge you can’t Google.
2️⃣ Geotech first. A geotechnical engineer evaluates the bank’s stability before you spend on anything else.
3️⃣ Then the inspection. Never pay for a house report the ground can’t support.
4️⃣ Handle hiccups strategically. Findings become leverage, not lost money.

At the end, our inspector told me these buyers were lucky to have an agent who doesn’t waste their time or their money. That one stuck with me. 🙏

The best part is that they’ll be working alongside a physician friend of mine. Great people, great community.

15+ years. 550+ homes sold. I invest, own rentals and build here too, so I look at every property like it’s my own. And yes, it’s fall, and I’m still out there seven days a week. 🍂
