🔑🏡Your Final Walkthrough… You’re Almost HOME! 🏡 🔑

The final walkthrough is such an exciting part of buying a home! You’re so close to getting those keys, but before we celebrate, we want to make sure everything is just right!

Here are a few things we always remind our buyers to do:

1 - Go room by room. Bring your checklist and take your time checking everything out.

2 - Test the important stuff! Turn on the lights, run the faucets, flush the toilets and make sure the appliances are working properly.

3 - Double-check any agreed-upon repairs. We want to make sure everything the seller promised has been taken care of.

4 - Ask questions! If something doesn’t look right, speak up. That’s what we’re here for!

Sometimes strength looks a little different than it used to…

For years, CrossFit was such a huge part of my life. It was my passion, my identity and something I absolutely loved. But life changes, priorities shift and I’ve learned that it’s not about how much weight I can lift anymore. It’s about staying strong, healthy, happy and being able to do what I love for years to come.

And honestly, that same mindset carries over into what Keith and I do with Team Zimmer.

Whether it’s fitness, life, or real estate, it’s not always about how fast you go or how much you accomplish. It’s about showing up, building relationships, staying consistent and doing things that matter for the long haul.

At 51, I’m learning to embrace this season of life, be grateful for where I am and just keep moving forward! Because strength isn’t just about what you can lift… it’s about what you build along the way.

SOLD! And this one means a little extra to us!

Some homes sell in a heartbeat, others take a few twists, turns and a whole lot of patience to get to the finish line! This little cutie had MULTIPLE offers, went under contract TWICE and definitely kept us on our toes! But sometimes the road to SOLD isn’t a straight one and that’s okay, because the right ending is worth the wait! But here’s what makes this one so special to us…

You’d think finding the perfect home would be the hard part… but apparently finding the LOCKBOX is today’s main event! Is it on the door? The railing? Around the corner? Hidden in a bush? A tree? On the roof? Do I need a treasure map, a metal detector, or a personal invitation?!?!

*Buyers & Sellers: Some of them want to use you… And honestly? That’s exactly what I’m here for. USE ME.

*Lenders: Some of them want to get used by you… Oh, don’t worry. We will. We need that money.

*Zillow: Some of them want to abuse you… Nothing like a Zestimate to keep a REALTOR® humble.

*Home Warranty: Some of them want to be abused… Until something breaks three days after closing and suddenly we’re ALL calling.

Real estate takes buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, title, warranties and yes, even Zillow doing Zillow things.
