This one felt personal.

I spent some of my earliest years in Oakland just blocks away on 11th Avenue, so representing 1021 E. 23rd Street felt a little like returning to where my own Oakland story began.

With its beautiful light, original character, gorgeous floors and expansive yard, this 1926 home had a story all its own—and buyers felt it. After strong interest and multiple offers, it now belongs to someone new who gets to begin their own chapter here.

Some homes are special enough that you get to sell them twice. ✨

I first represented 201 Beverly Avenue when the current owner purchased it several years ago. So when she chose me to represent her when it was time to sell, it felt like a meaningful full-circle moment—and one of the best compliments I could receive.

I met Ashley in 2017, introduced to me by my client-turned-friend, Annalyn Cruz. From the start, it was clear that our values were aligned—Ashley is such a good person with a heart of gold. Years later, she purchased a condo, and fast forward to today, she’s met the love of her life, Free. Coincidentally, I knew Free through mutual friends, and just like with Ashley, our values aligned. He’s the kind of person who lights up any room he walks into, and I couldn’t wait to help them put down roots in Oakland! They patiently explored homes and neighborhoods, navigating a few heartbreaks and challenges along the way. But with their trust in me, and my belief that they’d know the perfect place when they found it, we ultimately found the one. This past weekend, I had the honor of helping them celebrate their new home at their baby shower, surrounded by so many loved ones. You turned 25 today, and every time I looked at my phone and saw September 21st, it brought me so much joy. The day you were born was the best day of my life, and seeing that date will always make me smile.

It’s amazing that you’re halfway across the world, doing what you love on this special day. Knowing you—not just as my son, but as the incredible person you are—gives me so much faith in humanity. Your kindness, grit, strength, and resilience are qualities anyone would admire.

Oh, December 31st, 2023, they got into contract, and on Friday, January 19th, 2024, they closed escrow – marking my first sale of the new year! I want to start by thanking for the referral. This family comes from a long line of women and families who have supported me and my business. I work by referral; therefore, I work with the most incredible people from all walks of life.
