TORCH assists homeless individuals and families in Oak Ridge and Anderson County, Tennessee.

Programs include : Street Outreach, Rapid Rehousing, Shelter for Families with Children and Rapid Entry Into Substance Abuse Recovery Housing. TORCH seeks to end homelessness in Oak Ridge and Anderson County, Tennessee, by helping homeless families obtain housing and become self-sufficient.

We are getting closer to welcoming families into the newest addition to Bookhart Village! Construction continues to move forward, and it is exciting to see this vision become a reality.

From framing to roofing and exterior work, every step brings us closer to providing more families experiencing homelessness in Anderson County with a safe place to call home.

This expansion would not be possible without the generosity, support, and partnership of our incredible community. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this dream a reality!

Finding housing can involve barriers that are difficult to navigate without help.

During the recent CNS Y-12 bus tour, Executive Director Andy Oquin highlighted how TORCH supports individuals and families experiencing homelessness through street outreach, coordinated entry, and rapid rehousing.

United Way is grateful for CNS Y-12’s giving, volunteerism, and community support, including its commitment to learning directly from nonprofit leaders. These connections help build understanding and strengthen support for our neighbors.
