Ravestock was a big hit again this year! Nearly 300 guests, agents, employees came out to Ravestock-Norwalk and Ravestock-Boston, helping kickstart the donation momentum for the William Raveis Charitable Fund (WRCF) with two unforgettable evenings of music, dancing, silent auctions, and prizes.

Special thanks to our Marquee Sponsors Barclay Damon and EverQuote, as well as to our wonderful community, local businesses, and individuals alike for bidding in our Silent Auction. With unique and exciting items, our grassroots fundraiser was a success!

Here’s a Ravestock recap, with more highlights in today’s Tell-All Tuesday newsletter:

1. Live performances by Band Central that rocked the house with a mix of classic and new rock music.

2. Better still, Ryan Raveis joined them onstage with guitar and vocals, just like in 2025.

3. Silent Auctions, including a chance to throw out the First Pitch at a Boston Red Sox game with a homerun $8,000 winning bid, as well as dozens more experiences like a complete Nantucket escape, private fishing excursion, and The NASDAQ opening bell experience.

4. Ravestock-Boston had a novel art activity, inspired by a Meghan Raveis's oil painting of the Boston skyline, with guests using color pens to create an original Ravestock work of art with a live drawing for the completed masterpiece.

Here's what's actually scary about another lease: where the money goes. When you rent, your monthly payment covers your housing, but it doesn't build anything for you. When you own, a portion of each mortgage payment goes toward your loan balance, which means you're building equity over time.
A few things worth knowing before you renew:

• Rent can rise every year, while a fixed-rate mortgage payment stays predictable.
• Many buyers are surprised by how many loan options exist, including low down payment programs.
• Getting pre-approved doesn't commit you to anything. It simply shows you what's possible.
