Food, family, and tradition. Lizzie Sanchez, Property Manager, shares what her Peruvian heritage means to her and the culture she's proud to pass on to her daughters.
“Being from Lima, Peru, is a very special part of who I am, and I’m proud to celebrate my Hispanic heritage. I love the culture, traditions, and values I grew up with, especially the importance of family, hard work, and staying connected to our roots. And, of course, I must mention Peruvian food! Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, Ají de Gallina, and Seco de Carne. It’s spectacular! My girls love it too, and sharing our food and traditions with them is one of my favorite ways to keep our Peruvian culture alive in our home. I’m grateful for my roots and proud to share a little piece of Peru with others.” 🇵🇪❤️

"Ser de Lima, Perú, es una parte muy especial de quien soy, y me enorgullece celebrar mi herencia hispana. Amo la cultura, las tradiciones y los valores con los que crecí, especialmente la importancia de la familia, el trabajo duro y mantenernos conectados con nuestras raíces. ¡Y, por supuesto, tengo que mencionar la comida peruana! Ceviche, lomo saltado, ají de gallina y seco de carne. ¡Es espectacular! A mis hijas también les encanta, y compartir nuestra comida y nuestras tradiciones con ellas es una de mis formas favoritas de mantener viva nuestra cultura peruana en casa. Estoy agradecida por mis raíces y orgullosa de compartir un pedacito del Perú con los demás." 🇵🇪❤️
