Kent is the double espresso. $360k median purchase price, and homes go about 11 days on market before a contract. It's strong and fast, so know what you want before you walk up to the counter.

Muskegon is the lakeshore latte. $275k median purchase price, 16 days on market before a contract. You get a little time to sip and think, plus a beach on the side.

Newaygo is the drip coffee with a refill. $270k median purchase price, 22 days on market before a contract. It's no fuss, good value, and the kind of pace where you can actually enjoy the morning.

Mecosta is the slow pour-over. $235k median purchase price, 31 days on market before a contract. It's the most house for your dollar out of the four, and you have time to do it right.

In the last few weeks, buyers in every one of these counties have had a little more room to breathe than they're used to. That's a pretty good time to be shopping.

Muskegon is the second date. $275k median purchase price, about 17 days on market before a contract. You've got time to get to know the place, but not so long that someone else swoops in.

Newaygo is meeting the parents. $270k median, about 22 days before a contract. Walk the property, check out the pole barn, ask the real questions.

Mecosta is the long, easy courtship. $235k median purchase price, about 31 days on market before a contract. Take a second showing, bring the family, and picture where the Christmas tree goes.

Whatever your style, buyers have more homes to pick from right now than a year ago in all four of these counties.
