Real estate home inspection I entered the home inspection business to try to assist people that are unfamiliar with the problems associated with many houses.

Often, buyers look at a potential house and they tend to focus only on the surface and whether the house is big enough to suit their needs. They also look at the cost and sometimes "the great deal" ends up not being such a deal after all, due to unseen problems. I will be thorough and try to provide you with enough information so you can make an educated decision and feel confident that you made educated decision with Inspector Ed Home Inspections.

When you're from out of state trying to survive in a big city you try and make things work that really don't work.

A Tip from Inspector Ed 🏠
With a storm potentially impacting our area this weekend, now is a good time to do a quick check around your home.
🍂 Clear leaves and debris from gutters and downspouts
🌳 Secure or put away loose items around the yard
💧 Make sure drains and downspouts can move water away from the house
🔦 Check flashlights and have batteries handy
❤️ And most importantly — check on an elderly neighbor and make sure they’re prepared too.
A few minutes of preparation now can help prevent problems when the weather gets bad.

A Tip from Inspector Ed
Sometimes the tree is more important than the fence..... Make sure to have a new property survey done when purchasing a new
Home or property.

Why was the window feeling so ill.

It was missing it sill.

A window sill is important to prevent potential water intrusion.

The Inspector Ed A TEAM

Had my girls helping me this weekend at an inspection.

All work and no play is not my motto.....let's work hard and get the job done so we can play...... We enjoyed the multiple playgrounds....

Hope you had a great weekend

Thank you Lea and Tessa for your help.

Think how many people have walked on the wooden subway floor in NYC and it is in better condition than some houses I have inspected.. No finish needed.

Not the best drain pipe. It will work for a shorty while longer. B U T These pipes are more prone to leaks. Inspector Ed suggests hard PVC pipe or brass. But PVC is easier to work with..
