Nature shaped every part of Mabel, from its setting beneath the mature London plane trees of Eighth Avenue to its architecture and interiors. Now it shapes the art, too. 🌿

Our permanent collection brings together works by women artists whose practices explore light, landscape and the natural world, extending Mabel’s biophilic design into the spaces residents use every day.

Last week, we celebrated the collection with our partners at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts and the artists behind it. Hear from Andie Krefsky, Assistant Vice President of Construction at MAG Partners and curator of the collection, on how it came together. 🎨

We’re excited to introduce the artists bringing a new layer of nature and creativity to . 🌿

Custom works by Cadence Giersbach, Heather Renée Russ, Kate Hopkins, Sally Egbert, and Mary Royall now live throughout Mabel’s lobby and amenity spaces. Created by four incredible women artists, each piece draws inspiration from nature while telling a story entirely its own.

Stay tuned as we dive deeper into each artist, the inspiration behind their work, and the stories that brought these pieces to life at Mabel. 🎨
