We are proud to recognize Adam Cates on 20 remarkable years with Tradd Commercial!

Since joining the firm in 2006, Adam has played a significant role in shaping the commercial real estate landscape throughout the Grand Strand. As Senior Advisor and President of Tradd Commercial, he has represented clients in the sale and leasing of office properties, commercial buildings, and development sites, while leading numerous high-profile transactions.

His accomplishments include the sale and annexation of 1,600 acres into the City of Conway, a 165,000-square-foot industrial lease for a global supplier's distribution center, the assemblage and sale of oceanfront properties for resort development, and site selection for nationally recognized companies including New York Life, Progressive, AT&T, State Farm, Verizon, and Walmart.

Adam's leadership extends well beyond brokerage. He has earned both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Office and Industrial Realtors (SIOR) designations and has served in leadership roles with the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors, the CCIM South Carolina Chapter, South Carolina Realtors, and numerous other professional and civic organizations. Tradd Commercial is proud to announce the sale of a 28 acre commercial land tract at Chatham Crossing to Amazon for the company’s second Grand Strand location. This location will provide last-leg delivery throughout the region. Adam Cates, CCIM, SIOR is proud to have been involved in securing both Grand Strand locations for the international logistics company.
