Fall is the quiet season at our places on the Elk River and Wilson Lake. The summer boat traffic is gone, the mornings are cool enough for coffee on the deck, and the trees along the river turn from late October into November.
We have open nights at all four places from mid-October through early December:
• Fishing Lovers, Elk River. 2 bedrooms, two decks, screened porch, covered boat dock. $210 a night on most dates.
• River Views, Elk River. Newly remodeled 1 bedroom with a private deck and the river in view from the living room, kitchen and bedroom. $150 weeknights, $190 Friday and Saturday.
• 4-Bedroom House by the River, Elk River. Sleeps 8. $185 a night, Oct 18 through Nov 24.
• Waterfront Lake Access, Wilson Lake in Muscle Shoals. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, wraparound deck on the lake. Fall nights run $195 to $268.
