Since 1903, this land has been family.

What started as 306 acres of family-owned farmland in Murfreesboro is now The Maples, a community built on five generations of values carried forward today by lifelong locals, Summer and Betsy Maples.

Every street bears a name from the Couch and Maples family tree. The old farmhouse still stands, now serving as an event space at the heart of it all.

The Maples is more than just a cookie-cutter community.

🍁 Each home and townhome has been expertly crafted by one of our five trusted local builders.
🍁 Modern amenities include a beach-entry pool, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts; a ball field, and a playground.
🍁 It's just minutes from I-24 and all of that Murfreesboro has to offer.

Modern comforts. Local roots. Isn't it time you put down yours?

Both of our community's entrance roads honor the families who owned the land.

The street name of our second entrance, Couch Farm Dr., is named after the Couch family who purchased the farm in 1903. In the late 1930's, Marie Couch married Broadus Whitlock Maples, the grandparents of developers Summer and Betsy.

Broadus Whitlock Maples (right) is pictured here with his father-in-law, Clark Couch (left), who lived in the farmhouse and farmed here. This picture was taken in what is now the amenities center parking lot.
