There’s something pretty incredible about watching a young adult say YES to their future.

Yes to investing in themselves.
Yes to building something of their own.
Yes to taking smart risks.
Yes to putting down roots.
Yes to HOMEOWNERSHIP.

I can’t tell you how proud and happy it makes me to watch a first-time buyer take this step.

There’s something genuinely hopeful about seeing the next generation recognize the opportunity that comes with owning a home—and having the courage to go after it!! (So much is possible!)

And somehow, God is so generous to allow me to be a part of moments like this. What an incredible privilege. I’m grateful beyond words.

But this isn’t about me.
It’s about a brand-new homeowner who just picked up the keys to his very first home—and the bright future waiting on the other side of that front door. 🔑🏡

A little overdue, but I’m 𝒔𝒐 excited to officially share that I’ve joined Onward Real Estate. 🏡

In many ways, this move feels both destined and familiar.
Over the years, I’ve crossed paths with so many incredible agents connected to Onward, and I’ve always admired the culture they’ve built — one centered around 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔, professionalism, integrity, and genuinely serving people well.
Long before this move was ever on the horizon, there were already threads connecting me to the people and story behind this company. That makes being here now feel especially meaningful.

I’m also deeply grateful for where I started and for the people who encouraged me early on. Every season teaches us something valuable, and I truly believe each step helps guide us toward where we’re meant to be.

If you know me well, you know this business has never just been about transactions for me. I genuinely love homes, properties, neighborhoods, and 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 wrapped up in moving.

Maybe part of that comes from having done it so many times myself. Over the course of many moves, I’ve experienced firsthand the excitement, stress, hope, uncertainty, and fresh beginnings that come with finding a place to call home.
That’s why helping people through those seasons means so much to me.

I’m incredibly thankful to do work that allows me to meet wonderful people, build lasting relationships, and help others navigate major life transitions with confidence and care.
And I truly 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒆𝒓 to be doing it with Onward.

A “March 1 listing” really starts… right about now.
(Or earlier — but December is a great place to begin.)

*Don't worry, I'm not going to add anything to your already overflowing list of events the last two weeks of this month!

There are three stages most homeowners underestimate:

1️⃣ Personal Planning
Talking with your family, getting on the same page, checking finances, deciding where you’re headed next. (This is what you can start now without adding additional stress to your holiday.)

2️⃣ Prep Time
Repairs, touch-ups, decluttering, cleaning, fresh photos, and making sure your home shines its brightest. (This part almost always takes longer than expected.)

3️⃣ Ex*****on
Making sure youre confident in your an agent, reviewing paperwork, staging, photography, and getting everything ready to hit the market confidently.

The truth is:
Selling a home is a process — and the earlier you start planning, the better the end result.

So if your goal is to list in early spring, December is the perfect time to put a plan in motion.

When my kids were little and our budget was extremely tight, Black Friday sales were how I made Christmas feel special.

Those early mornings, packed parking lots, and endless checkout lines were worth it to see their smiles on Christmas morning. 🎄

These days, I’m a little more likely to enjoy the comfort of leftovers and a warm blanket while shopping online — but there’s still something nostalgic about it all.
