This Saturday is Halloween, and I want to thank the people who make it special for our kids: every Moberly neighbor who leaves the porch light on and says hi to every little superhero, the churches, businesses and groups putting on trunk or treats downtown, and our Moberly police officers and Randolph County deputies keeping an eye on the streets Saturday night.

One quick favor: slow down in the neighborhoods Saturday night. Little ones in dark costumes are hard to see, and they don't always look before they cross.
